Bird and Pollinator Friendly Family Garden

This cozy family garden serves people as well as birds, bees and butterflies. The edible beds are filled with herbs like sage, rosemary, thyme and oregano for adults, and blueberry & blackberry shrubs for kids. Twenty-two species of California native plants are scattered through the garden and provide food and habitat for pollinators and birds, including hummingbirds. Seven of these are Keystone Species which support hundreds of native moths and butterflies. With a total of fifty-three species of plants, there is always something interesting to discover in this lively and cheerful family garden.
